St. Michael Catholic Church
Cañon City, Colorado
JP Architecture joined with JR Harris & Company Structural Engineers to assist the Parish in resolving a structural failure in their new Church building, which had been designed by another design team. Alternate structural systems were evaluated for their design impact and cost. JP Architecture provided interior design services for the Chancel area, Eucharistic Chapel and Shrines for St. Mary and St. Joseph.
During the construction of the new Church, there was a roof structural failure. JP Architecture was asked to design the solutions without columns in the Church area and assumed the construction observation and administration to complete the new Church.
